Trunk or Treat

My parents invited us to go to trunk or treat at the church with them and I was so excited cause I wanted to see everyones costumes. My brother Masato was Darth Vador, my brother Kent was Aniken Skywalker, Damien was Spiderman, and Ali was an angel. It was a lot of fun watching them get candy and then getting a sugar high.

Masa - aka Darth Vador

Kent - aka Aniken Skywalker

Damien- aka Spiderman

Now this picture I absolutly love! Ali loves Scott, and Scott loves Ali, she is always so happy with him. He looks like a daddy in this picture, dont you think? :)

Shooting Range

Scott and I were able to go to one of his best friends weddings in Alabama last weekend and we had a blast. I just wanted to post a picture of the church cause it was so beautiful. We had such a great time.

HA, what a good looking couple!

The morning that we were supposed to leave, Scott and his best friend Jim Bob decided to go to a shooting range so we could all "brush up on our skill" hahaha like I had any to begin with. But we ended up having so much fun and went through 200 rounds of ammo. I actually did really good after Scott showed me how to aim. I even got a couple bulls eyes, I was pretty proud of my girly self:)

Look how hard they are concentrating! hahahaha

Scott is very good at shooting, I am glad I married a man who can protect me:)

Talledega

Scott is a salesman for a cable company in Atlanta so he has a lot of cool bonuses and perks to his job. Like he just won a really cool car fridge, and a hug bag style cooler, and an all expense paid trip to Talledega! I am pretty excited, we get to stay two night in the Wyndham hotel, and we have pit passes and head gear and a $300 Amex card to spend on whatever we want! Hurray! I am so excited to go. We are leaving next weekend:)

Ohio pictures

After 10 hours of driving we finally got to our friends apartment at around 8:15pm. Jen packed us up and we went out to eat at Quaker Steak and met up with Mike. Scott decided he wanted to get the atomic hot wings that was at the top of the hotness chart. He was crazy, just the smell of the hot wings seared your nose hairs.

Here's the atomic hot wings, don't they just look hot?

This picture is blurry but he has a funny facial expression. After taking a bite of the wings, his eyes and nose ended up watering. It was so funny.

The next day (Thurs) Jen had to go to school, so Mike took us to the Free and Accepted Mason's museum. It was very interesting learning about who and what they do. Then Mike had to go to class so we switched and Jen took us to Rusty Bucket sports bar and grill. Scott has a cheese steak that was so good! After we headed to Graeter's ice cream shop and they had such great ice cream. It was fantastic. Afterwards we battled the cold wind and rain and headed to the Ohio State hockey game.

They ended up losing but there were some pretty good almost fights:)

Awe...

Friday we decided we wanted to go to Kirtland and visit all the church history stuff. It was really weird listening to the Community of Christ church's history. I mean it is the exact same history as our church but they broke off. Its was just strange to me walking into their book store and seeing the Book of Mormon and other books church books, but yet they are so differnt. It was very interesting and fun though. The temple was beautiful. Its carzy how they build all of it with their own hands. They said it costed them about $45,000, and in todays time would translate to $16 million!!! wow!

Beautiful

We went to the LDS churches historic places, like the Newel K Whitney store. We got to go upstairs and see the room where the Father and the Son appeared to severel brotheren in the church, and it was incredible. You still feel like it is holy ground, it is so spiritual.

The saw mill where they cut all the wood for the temple. The tour guide told us a funny story and said that when President Hinckley went to visit, he wanted to see the saw work, since they tell you that is can still be used. He said something like , "Well start it up and lets see it work." Ha! I love President Hinckley, how awesome is that!

We left Kirtland and headed over to Cedar point, which is one of the largest amusement parks in world. It is actually built on an island on lake erie. It was raining when we got there, so there was hardly anyone in the park. We had no wait times on the rides that were open. It was great

Mike and Scott rode this by themselves. Jen and I would not go. The thing actually shoots you from 0 to 120 miles an hour in 3 seconds and it is 90 degrees up and 90 degrees down, twisting you as you go up and down. A 17 second ride. Psychotic!!!

Saturday the boys got up early and went and bought some OSU gear an headed to the game. They said it was a very good game and OSU ended up winning. Jen and I went shopping and I got some decorations for my house. Then we stopped by the Cheesecake Factory and got some cheesecake. Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmy!

The boys finally met up with us and we ate some dinner, and went to the Funnybone comedy club. It was definatly and experience, The main comedian Mark Sweeny was hilarious and his jokes were mostly clean, but the guy before that was awful. Mike and Jen were really disappointed about it, but it was fun to just hang out.

Mike and Jen at the Funny Bone Comedy Club. We had front row seats

I am finally done! Sorry about how crazy long this entry is but we had such a blast in Ohio!!! Hope you enjoy:)

Road Trip

Ohio

Scott and I are leaving for Ohio tomorrow to go see our good friends Mike and Jenny! I am so excited. We were looking at plane tickets and they are so expensive right now. So, we bought some new tires for the car (which were needed badly anyway) and we will get on the road tomorrow morning. Jenny said that we they have a bunch of fun things planned, like a comedy show, the OSU game for the boys, shopping for us, cedar pointe, and just fun fun fun. So keep a look out for some pictures next week:) (we get back sunday)
