Summer

Its been a long time since I updated. I have just been lazy and havent wanted to touch the computer but I guess its about time.

So an update. I went to Utah in July, had a blast and got to see my extended family. I cried and saw my amazing brother off on a mission. I came back and quit my job. We bought a 4-wheeler. I finally bought a bed for our room. And i am currently decorating our house again.

here are a few pictures...

The bench I made. I am so proud of it. I felt very crafty :)

The 4-wheeler we bought. It is a lot of fun to ride!

Scott taking Masato for a ride

I bought this bed from a guy on criagslist for $300. I was so proud of myself for being so thrifty! It is a solid mahogany bed. I felt like I practically stole it! What a deal!

Can you find the orange skeet?

Scott bought a skeet thrower and attached it to a tire for some stability. Redneck

We went out to our friends grandmothers lake and went fishing.

Kent and Masa had a lot of fun fishing and riding the 4-wheeler.

Kents first fish!

And the hunting rifle I purchased for scott for our anniversary.

I think most of that caught me up so I wont have to upload so many pictures next time. We are planning a few vacations here in the next little bit so stay tuned :)

Fishing

Scott and I went fishing the other day in the hot hot sun. We had a lot of fun sitting and relaxing on the water, even though we didnt catch anything. Near the very end of our little outing, I tried to cast my line out and it wrapped around the end of my pole and it came right out of my hands. So i lost my fishing pole, and i am a terrible fisher. Better luck next time maybe...

Washington DC

Scott and I got to go to our nations capitol a couple weeks ago and we had so much fun! We probably walked like 15 miles, but it was really neat to see everything. I dont have any pictures yet because I cant find my camera cord to upload all the awesome stuff that we did.ing...figures.

On another note my brother John got his mission call last week and he is going to Tokyo, Japan!!! Who would have guessed right? He is so excited and I am so excited for him. He is going to the same mission both my parents did, which is pretty neat. I am just so excited for him! Its crazy that he is even old enough to go. Anyway we will probably end up going to Utah to see my grandma send him off to the MTC. Hurray

Amazing

Scott's family has memorial day on the first weekend of May, so this weekend we headed to Alabama. I usually don't like to go because every time I am there I am on my period and it is raining. Not a good combo. So this time I wasn't on my period, thank goodness, but it still rained, which was fine. Scott had an exciting weekend planned so I would enjoy myself.

When we got there Scott's cousin John just finished fixing his motorcycle. He took me on a couple short rides around the neighborhood but that's about it. So this time he told me to hop on and we went for a nice little cruise in the countryside. It was so beautiful!

Next Scott took me to one of his best friends house. His name is Bob and he has a lot of horses that he raises. Scott worked for him in high school and after his mission a little bit. The man is a good old southern country man that has more money than you can imagine, and you would never know it. So here we are, trying to ride a horse that is not fully broken. I wouldn't let Scott let go of the reigns.

Next the guys decided they wanted to hit a few golf balls. So we went out into the field in front of Bobs house.

Bob let me drive this little tractor four wheeler thing that they all call the gator. He said we should go check out a place called horseshoe bend. Scott had been wanting to take me but we never ended up going. So I was the awesome off roading chauffeur for he day and it was so much fun. Here are some picture of horseshoe bend.

BEAUTIFUL!!! I love nature so much.

And finally the high light of my weekend was seeing Scott's cousins lake house. Now this cousin of Scott really helped "mentor" him in a way when he was growing up. He started a company and made millions. He was talking about his lake house and Scott said that he still hadn't seen it. So he told us to come on and he would show us. so we snuck out of the family reunion dinner and headed to Smith Lake with his 2 daughters, his brother. So we drive up and see these most awesome chairs. So we just had to test them out.

Then he takes us around the house to show us the lake.

And the Dock / Pavilion...

The house from the dock...

His cousin taking Scott out on the jet ski to see the house from the lake. I got to go too but I don't have any pictures.

Now I know this picture is extremely blurry, but I couldn't get my camera to focus right in the dark. But just imagine seeing this house on the water! Its breathtaking!

And lastly the Bear that he shot on one of his hunting trips in Alaska.

The entire house is made out of Cyprus wood and it smells so incredible. We stayed there for quite a while and his cousin showed us his Alaskan fishing trip video, his pictures of the African hunting trip he took his family on, and tons of pictures of places he has been. It was just so amazing. It built my dream so so so so so much.
He told Scott that we could come down any time and stay. He also told him to keep up his hard work and he would benefit from the results. Wow wow wow. The best part is...... the lake house is paid for.
