Savannah!

Scott and I decided that we needed a break, so we decided to head to Savannah, Ga. I was so excited because this is the first vacation we have had alone together since our honeymoon three years ago. And it was the first time I have ever been to Savannah. So Friday after work Scott and I drove 3 1/2 hours to our hotel. We checked in and then decided to go eat some food. Scott decided he wanted to eat somewhere nice, so we made some reservations. Well I had only brought shorts and t-shirts to wear cause I was not expecting to go somewhere nice. Scott said that I could do some shopping! I was so excited, I have not bought clothes in I don't know how long. A couple months ago I bought a 2 shirt and jacket, and before that it had been about 1 year since I have gotten any clothes. So we stopped by and I got me a couple of out fits. We went and ate some good sea food on Riverstreet and after that we walked to the river to sit and listen to some music. Well as I sat down and took my purse off my camera fell out of my purse and into the Savannah River! I was so upset, I wanted to jump in and get it, but Scott said that there was no use. I was so mad at myself, so we went back to the hotel. (So no picture of the first day in Savannah). The next day Scott said that we couldn't go on vacation and not have a camera, so we stopped by best buy and bought another one. I was pretty upset that I had to buy another camera, but it is way nicer than my other one, so that made me feel better. Then we raced back to Riverstreet and bought tickets for a River boat ride. After the boat ride we stopped by another restaurant and ate some of the best gumbo I have ever had! It was so good. Here is Scott in the Restaurant (he is so darn cute) next to a wall that i think looks so awesome.


Right after we ate, it started getting real dark outside, so we decided to cut the vacation short and go home. right as we were getting off of Riverstreet, the rain started pouring down, and the wind started blowing. We left just in time, but it was still really bad on the roads. But all in all it was a fantastic vacation! I hope we can go on another one here soon!

Happy Anniversary!

Scott and I have been married for 3 years yesterday! I must say that it has been the greatest 3 years of my life. I feel like we just got married but at the same time that I have known him forever. He is the perfect person for me. We have so much fun together laughing and joking and crying. We love to watch movies and go on road trips together, ride in the truck and laying and cuddling with each other. Scott is the most positive person I know, despite all the crap that happens to him. He is always bringing me up when I am down, and always making me laugh when I am sad, and always loving me when I am a brat:) I love him so much! So here it is 3 down and an eternity to go.

New truck New house

I keep wanting to write on my blog but I keep forgetting my camera to show pictures, so I will upload some pictures later.

Our truck has been out of commission for a few months because Scott wrecked it. So he went and bought all the parts to get it fixed. I helped him put the springs on the back of the truck and then he took it to a friends to get the rest of it fixed. Well almost 28 hours of labor later and a ton of money, it works again!!! I am so excited to drive it again. The truck is really high now, because Scott had to put a lift kit on it to fix the spring that broke. Its like a whole new truck. We were going to wait until we moved to fix it, but we decided we might need it to move. So now we are moving on Friday, it seemed like it was so far away but now that its on top of us, I am not ready! And for those of you who do not know, we were building a house and didn't feel completely at ease about it, so we kept looking around and found a house on 4 acres that is just gorgeous and so peaceful! I am so excited to live there! Here are some picture of it:)
